What type of woman like purple satin panties?

Historically purple has been a symbol of royalty, nobility, spirituality, and mystery.  Also associated with the color purple is good judgment. It has been the color of choice with kings, queens, and high ranking priests.

I am surprised that purple is not a more popular color when it comes to lingerie.  When seen on a woman I personally think it combines a feeling of excitement and classiness all in one.

Purple satin panties should be the preferred choice for woman who are:

Red is very “out there.”  Its meaning is focused and very direct.  An introvert would definitely not wear this color around people (especially men).  When a woman wears red satin panties her feelings and intentions are obvious.

Blue would be almost the opposite of red.  Blue panties give off a more “chill” feeling. A woman wearing blue satin gives off a more cooling, calming, and expansive vibe to people around her.

Today we started scouring the internet for some really fantastic purple panties from from satin.  Like usual we found tons of lace but satin is a little harder to come by.

We came across a blog called the Lingerie Post which featured some beautiful purple panties from Edith Desmarais that were made from satin. It is part of her Satin Résille Femme collection.

If you can speak French I would also recommend going to the official Edith Demarais website.  She makes some fabulous items.  She is originally from Montreal but left years ago for France to become one of the premier lingerie designers in Paris.  Seems she has succeeded and it is no wonder why.

Woman love to wear it and men love to feel it.  This is a very silky, shiny, and delicate fabric that comes in rich shades complementing every skin tone imaginable.

Its very stretchy and actually contours itself a woman’s body type.

What is great about satin panties is that they can be two “ideas” at once.  They convey a feeling of “innocence” while at the same time making a person feel incredibility sexy/ attractive.

Another great selling point is that satin panties prevent you from getting the annoying and dreaded panty line.  If you are a woman who likes to wear dress slacks to work this is especially important.

Like other type of woman’s panties you can buy them in an assortment of styles.

The four main ones are hiphugger, v-string, thong, and plain brief.

The main colors satin underwear comes in is white, black, red, and pink.  As stated in another post different personality types will choose different colors of underwear.

There is however one main negative that should be discussed.  The material that satin panties are made from make it hard for the skin they cover to breath.

Skin needs air and sometimes this is restricted with this type of underwear.  It has led to skin irritation and yeast infections for woman who are prone to them.

If have had these problems in the past you want to consider not wearing satin every single day and make it a point to switch to cotton from time to time.

It took a while but I finally came across the perfect set of green satin panties that met my standards.  I was very impressed to say the least.  They had a picture of the most beautiful set of emerald green panties with a matching satin bra that I had seen in a long time.  Shinny, tight, and sexy these undergarments were impressive…

Anyway, the site where I found those particular satin panties led me to their actual designer named Agent Provacateur.  They make classic and exotic lingerie.  First off, loved their site.  They have some items and outfits, some not even related to satin, that blew my mind away. 10/10 rating!  Every site has a feel to it and some do better than others.  This had a beautiful exotic feel and you really had a sense that the people who make this style of clothing know their product and know what they are doing.  They call their outfits “collections.”  You need to these out.  They are intoxicating.  They have several selections from you to choice from.  Here are the selections: sirens, virgins, pirates, witches, classic ranges, bridal ranges, swimwear, maternity, hosiery, and beauty.  There is this one “collection” called “Jerry” that was especially gorgeous.

They have some really impressive silk satin hipster briefs that come with tie-sides.  They looked extremely good and come in black or cream.  These panties have a real mature yet sexy look to them at the same time.  It kind of blends in with a previous post about black panties and the look they give you and the perception of others.  Speaking of black satin if you type in the word “satin” in their search toolbar you will find this excellent item called “gangster”.  I do not know where they got the name for this one, as their does not appear to be anything gangster about it, but its to die for.  Its a low rise brief with pleated trim around the waist.

The same site had some underwear called “Cara Briefs” that came in these cool fuchsia green colors.  Go there and find out.  I am done being their personal billboard.  Loved the website and would highly recommend it to anyone.  You will love it.

Okay so moving on, and I had to look hard for others, but I had to find multiple sites that sell “cool” sexy green satin panties.  I was hard but I found two other places.

One of the places was an online store called Etsy.  Never heard of it before.  I came across a really nice bra and pantie set that were a) made out of quality satin and b)green.  The particular item fit both.  They call their color “kelly green.”  Why they do I have not the slightest idea.  The sides are tie downs.

Another site is where I found some items that fit my stringet qualifications was called Kodos.  Here I found some really attractive green satin knickers.  I really did think they were beautiful.  They were a really pale green with pale pink satin trim at the top.  Mind blowing!

It was unexpected but I came to find during my search that “green” in not a popular color, for whatever reason, in this country for underwear.  Most of the choices I found were in the UK.  I did find, and this was a surprise, that Joe Boxer makes or made string bikini cut satin underwear.  They have some really nice ones that I found on Ebay.  Type in “Shiny Green Satin Panties Joe Boxer” on the site and you will find it.  They look really good.  Most of the ones I found on the site were ugly.  They were big, frilly, and cheaply made.

The color of green is an interesting color.  It can mean two different ideas in lingerie.

On one hand light green can be a calming and very refreshing color.  Green naturally is associated with nature and a fresh, springtime feel.  Its this very reason why I find green to be an excellent color for this time of year.  Its a very restful color and can symbolize respect and well being.  Light to medium green is also a safe color, if you don’t know what color to use anywhere use green. Think of green in traffic signs.  Green, as opposed to red, means safety; it is the color of free passage in road traffic.

The color of money, dark green, suggests something totally different.  Its actually very masculine and emits wealth, success, and prosperity.  It can also signify “jealously,” or envy” at times.

So lets check out some websites where I was able to find green satin lingerie.

Here is an exquisite satin and chiffon top with sequins, crystals and beading.  While this item is not “undergarments” I did feel that it would match and go great with any green panties you may happen to be wearing that day.

On that same website there was a nice light green shiny satin lycra thong panty complemented with straight triangle front and elastic stitching.

Here is another website that may interest you.  Keep in mind that this particular website is based in England so if you live in America there is a $20 shipping charge on anything you purchase.  But when you see their two satin underwear options I think you will find it worth it.  The first option they have is a pair of champagne satin panties and the second option they have is black pleated satin undergarments that have a lace panel at the waist

But I have to admit that one of my favorite places to shop is Victoria’s Secret.  They do not have close to the line-up they did years ago when it comes to satin apparel but what they do have is hot and very well made (what isn’t that they produce?).

Victoria’s Secret has some incredible sexy stretchy satin panties.  They carry just such a feminine look to them that is just hard to duplicate.  Very few other lingerie companies come close.

I was looking at some of their items they have showcased for the Spring and was impressed.  They always have a corresponding satin bra with every type of pantie they sell.

So lets talk about some of the items they have…

They have satin panties that come in the thong style, hiphugger, v-string, high-leg brief, and the bikini cut.  You can get them in all different sizes from S to XL.  You can purchase one pantie for $14 or get three for $25.  I guess it goes without saying whats a better deal.  But the cut is not completely what makes these particular showcased satin panties look amazing.

Its the color line-up they have.  The colors that they have available look really and I mean really fantastic.  The colors the picked besides the black are really light and goes extremely well with the “spring look.”

These are the following colors you can choose from: Ivory, White, Black, Buff, Whisper Pink, Bisque, Berry, and Bouquet.  All the colors look good but the “bouquet” satin panty and bra look amazing especially for the Spring.  Its a mix of flowers, leaves, and comes with a hint of white that just screams summer is over.  A must see!

They also have a line-up of embroidered satin lingerie.  They look spectacular as always.  They give woman such a smooth and sexy look its unbelievable.  These come in other colors.  They include ivory, white, black, buff, whisper pink, coast blue, and bisque.  The bisque which is a fancy way of saying dark pink look the best in my opinion.  Another must see.  Speaking of pink panties Victoria Secret is also having a spring sale on all pink panties.  The deal is any 5/$25.  Not bad.  You can get a full set of sexy lingerie for a bargain.

One of the main pros about their lingerie is that it really is high quality material and their satin is very stretchy.  They have a very sleek feel to them and will give you an extra boost of confidence in your daily activity just knowing that you have a pair on.

Winter is finally over.  Spring is here.  Update your wardrobe with some new satin panties that will jumpstart the season off the right way.  Cheers!

Here are some scenarios.

First, do you wear the white satin panties or black satin panties to bed.

While we don’t agree with all she said it certainly is interesting to think about the next time you are picking out a color for your satin panties.  The do convey a message, both to yourself and your partner.

I found this very interesting because I was gathering information to talk about the next color you can get in satin panties.  The most popular, and this should not be a surprise, color of them all.  White panties.  They are by far the most famous.

And everyone looks good in them although I have to admit that Brazilian super model Gisele Bundchen probably wears them the best.  Oh well, she was voted “model of the millennium” by Vogue and was highest-paid model in 2008 and one can definitely see why.

Anyway one has to wonder what are so alluring about white satin panties.  Why are they the most popular?  Well if you remember from a previous article about colors white means innocent, virginal, and pure.  Now I know that we live in 2009 and every woman is supposed to have thrown those titles away along time ago.

The black panty personality is the norm.  Its the standard that every woman want to be.  But in the real world, away from what television says, every woman wants the white panties personality.  That’s what we are taught from an early ago.

Gwen Stefani was made to wear white panties by her parents because quite frankly the color white has always represented a sense of purity. Still does and will for a long time.

The black and the white and pink are all great colors but white will always be the standard.  Why do you think you get married with that color.

Okay so you are convinced that you want a pair of satin panties and you want that color to be white now you have to size it.  This is the key.  I have seen this time and time again.  You see a woman in Victoria’s Secret with something on, it looks really great, you buy it, and it doesn’t look anywhere near the long-legged models you saw on the magazine.  Just because you see something that looks awesome on Giselle, doesn’t mean it will look as awesome on you.  Shop for what’s works for your own body type. Don’t listen to television commercials that advocate “comfort,” which is just a synonym for “unsexy.” If you look hard enough, you’ll be able to find something both comfortable and hot. Jockey is not sexy.

Size your panties correctly.  That is the number one rule.  Too small.  You will have a “muffin top” or “camel toe”.  Too big.  That extra fabric is going to make you look like you are wearing a baby’s diaper, and yes people do recognize.  Don’t get one size knowing you are another.

A bikini brief is a panty that is cut to cover most of your cheeks but is very narrow on the sides, providing a high, flattering leg opening. A string bikini has only thin straps at the sides.

A boy short provides more coverage than other styles of briefs. It falls at or under the cheek where your tush naturally creases, eliminating most visible panty lines.  Boy shorts can be a great option under pants because they sit close to the body but don’t dig!

A very cheeky brief style, Brazilian briefs flatter your assets by covering very little in the rear. Somewhere between a traditional brief and a thong, the back fabric is v–shaped and lays on top of, not between, the cheeks.

You can buy them plain or in a lingerie set.  Usually this will include  the bra, panty, garter belt, and skirt.   Getting them in a set is nice because you do not have to worry about matching.  It takes more guesswork out.  You don’t have to wear all the pieces and I hope you won’t wear the garter belt to work but you can have it saved for that special day between you and the person you love. 

Another sexy idea, besides getting the set, is to put on a red lace nightgown over your red panties if you really want to “knock his socks off”.

This type of woman’s underwear in  particular color looks great in the bikini cut.  It really accentuates a woman’s highlights.  The least is probably the thong.  For some reason thongs have never looked good in red.  I cannot explain why?  Look great in pink, black, blue, but not red.  I think one of the reasons why is that is could be sex overkill.  Kind of like putting honey on your toast.  A little honey is great, but dousing your bread with a half jar would not be tasty.  Well, its the same thing with clothing.  Thongs mixed with red is just too much.

One challege about satin panties, and I forgot to bring this out in a previous article, is that they bunch up.  You have to make sure you size them right.  It is possible you just have to know how to do it.  Consider avoiding bikini or brief cuts if this is a problem for you.  I know I said earlier in this post that satin looks great in the bikini cut and it does but one drawback is that it does bunch.  Satin thongs do not bunch easily but a lot of woman do not like them (may be due to the lack of material) because they just feel too naked in them.  But thongs don’t have a lot of excess fabric and are a great alternative for avoiding that lumpy look or panty line under your clothing.

Find the right size.  If you get panties that are too big they will have extra fabric that will bunch up.  Every brand has a different sizing structure so remember that.  Just some helpful advice.  You can pick out the best panties in the world but if they leave a panty line or bunch and you feel uncomfortable then you are not going to feel your best.

Black panties are the second most popular type of satin panties.  It was recently stated in “The Color of Your Panties Mean Something” that black can represent Sexiness, Seduction, or Secretive type of attitude.  The three S’ you might say.

But black represents something else.  More than any of those words.  Black represents power and control.  When you wear black satin panties you are in control.  You are confident.  You are taking over the show.  It is quite different from the message that white panties emit.

Black lingerie are great confidence boosters.  But on some sexy black satin panties and you will feel like you are ready to take over the world.  Nobody is going to stand in your way.  You need to close a deal.  Done.  You need to convey a message. Done.  You need to tell the guy that you have been looking at for sometime you like him and want to go on a date.  Done.  Or you are just in the mood for getting any and everything accomplished. Done.  Black satin panties instill confidence and authority.

While as was stated in an earlier post that pink panties give off more of a “girly” look to them, this type of panties gives you more of a mature look.  These panties are for the woman who are the boss, who are in control, who love to run the show.  You are not one to easily be pushed around.

Its funny because white panties are more for the damsel in distress.  That’s fine.  Different colors, different panties, different personalities.  The white panties are every man’s dream but sometimes men do not want to be the prince.  They do not want to do all the work.  Sometimes they want you to take them….  A lot of men like dominate smart woman and black satin panties suit woman like this.

I always think it is funny when I talk to someone who does not think that their panties’ color does not mean anything.  It does.  It most definitely does!  Subconsciously every woman usually picks her panties based on her personality.  It always comes out.  I do not know if studies have been done on this but they should. 

From time to time a woman with the” black” personality may get red panties.  Or a person with the “white” personality may get pink panties.  That’s understandable since everyone wants to change it up from time to time and that’s okay.  But if you look through your bedroom I am sure you will see what color you ultimately like and what type of person that says you are.  Its funny when you think about it.

Its nice to switch it up a bit.  Pink panties are a must for any woman who has a playful silly personality.  Its for a person who loves to laugh and have fun.  White and black are great but have a more mature feel to them.  They are the standard.  Red panties have a lustful sultry look to them.  Pink is sexy, don’t get me wrong, but in a lighter sweeter tone.  They tease you a little bit.
